Cash Medical ("we," "us") is operated by Scout Theory LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, with operations based in Medellín, Colombia. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Contact form / WhatsApp / email: name, email, phone, broad procedure category, timing and the non-sensitive details you choose to share. Submitted only when you initiate contact. Please do not send medical records, scans, detailed diagnoses or other sensitive health information through our public forms.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is pseudonymous; we don't use it to identify you.
How we use it
- To respond to a price-research inquiry; or, when you separately request provider matching and consent, to route that matching inquiry to relevant providers.
- To improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Health information
Our public forms are designed to collect only high-level planning information. We are not a healthcare provider and do not ask for medical records through these forms. If you voluntarily send sensitive health information by email or WhatsApp, understand that Cash Medical is not a clinical record system and may not be a HIPAA covered entity or business associate for that communication.
Sharing
We share provider-matching inquiry details only when you use the matching path and explicitly consent. The routing policy is up to 3 relevant providers. Price-research submissions through the research-only form are not shared with providers merely because they were submitted. We use service processors (Google Workspace/Apps Script for forms, Google Analytics, Meta's WhatsApp) that handle data under their own terms.
Retention & your rights
We keep inquiry records as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing andy@colombiamedical.co. Colombian users: we process personal data consistent with Colombia's Habeas Data regime (Law 1581 of 2012); the same email serves as the channel for data-subject requests.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies for measurement. Your browser's settings and Google's opt-out tools let you block them; the site works fine without them.
